Last weekend Slowtwitch’s Road Show saddled up with TRI-MANIA, New England’s premier multisport summit and expo, and Landry’s, one of the region’s top cycling and triathlon stores, for a day of education, fellowship, and fun.

Mark Walter and the staff from Sun Multisport Events, producer of TRI-MANIA, welcomed attendees to the Boston University athletic field house, which served as the home base for a day chockfull of educational seminars, demos, exhibitors and races.

Total Immersion swim classes were held throughout most of the day inside Boston University’s Aquatic Center.

Brianna Hill and Alex Diaz from Zoggs USA provided swimmers with demo goggles and also manned a booth in the expo area.

Boston-area bike shop Fastsplits set up 24 CompuTrainers for competitions and workouts all day.

NormaTec, always popular at Ironman events, was a big hit here as well with athletes looking to boost their recovery.

Beer and pizza was provided by PowerTap and Boston Tri, and guests included 1995 IRONMAN Hawaii winner Karen Smyers.
