2013 Eurobike - Day 4

Today was our last scouting day in Friedrichshafen and here are a few more images of what we noticed at the 2013 Eurobike trade show.

You will find gear from Zoot, bikes from Koga, Look, Focus, Scott, Merida, Felt and Giant, clothing from Assos, tech stuff from Garmin, fitting tools from gebioMized and BodyScanning and much more.

The Zoot Ultra TT 7.0 is apparently quite a hit with the European dealers, and we liked it too.

We tried to stop Javier Gomez for a quick chat but he did not respond. In case you are wondering, these are some of the new wetsuit graphics for 2014.

It was another beautiful day in Friedrichshafen and here is some action from the big track in the massive courtyard of the 12 halls.

The Felt AR is very attractive and has the same unique post as the IA, just on a slightly smaller scale.

The Assos under layer is quite a trick item and should keep its owner warm in pretty cold conditions.

The Northwave Sonic S.R.S. costs around $140 and looks much more expensive. Plus there are a variety of color options to suit your style and/or match your kit.

The Giant Propel of Bauke Mollema of Team Belkin. Mollema was placed as high as2nd place in the TdF this yer but dropped to 6th place in the final week.

This Merida team Lampre TT bike looks somewhat familiar.

We saw the Garmin Vector in action and it looks quite good.

This Garmin Virb true HD 1080p camera is likely going to give GoPro some serious competition.

The Focus Izalco Chrono of team AG2R is another bike that has some familiar lines.

The Koga Beachracer won a Eurobike award in the cross category.

This stealth Look 596 is very fetching. It took actually a while to get a clear shot because folks seemed to be drawn to be prodding it.

Action in the gebioMized booth where pressure mapping is done on the footbed and the saddle and now also on the arm pads. This German brand will also be at Interbike.

With a slight adjustment the hot spots on the pads started to disappear.

The Giro Saros helmet retails for $120 and that seems to be a very good deal.

This very cool tricycle from Wishbone Design is made from recycled rugs like the one below it.

Bodyscanning is a static body measurement system that is reasonably popular in Germany.

Scott is another Euro brand in the electric bike market and this e-MTB is one of their offerings.

The German Red Cross first aid person reminds us to knock should we need help, but if that guy in mid air crashes he might not be able to knock.
