Early in the morning the Path run filled Ali'i Drive with 5k and 10k runners.

Good times were had by all - at least as it appeared.

Meanwhile downtown Kona has already been transformed into an Ironman village.

Sunday was maybe the last day where the swim wasn't completely packed with swimmers.

The pier was rather quiet too, and that place will certainly get busier each day now.

Beth Gerdes Walsh after her swim was rushing to get back to her husband Luke McKenzie and the baby Wynne.

Baby Wynne was meanwhile having a great time with Luke's sister Jacque.

If a bike is being carried through town or at any race it is likely the crew of Natascha Badmann. But in this case it is Richard Stoffel who finished 6th here last year in M45-49.

Meanwhile on the Queen K it was already busy despite the hot temperatures.

Runners were also busy logging a few miles on the Queen K.

Even Sebastian Kienle managed to get a few miles in.
