Norway delivers again with AXTRI

Many unique, tough and scenic events come out of Northern Europe and the Aurlandsfjellet Xtreme Triathlon in Norway clearly also delivers along those lines. The video below was created during a course recon earlier this year by Børge Sivertsen.

Where is Waldo? Look for a small blue dot towards the left side of the center section, moving up the climb.

If you like to think outside of the box and your summer schedule is not yet filled, on Saturday August 13, 2016 you could join other adventurous spirited folks at Laguna Beach in Aurland, Norway for a journey of 1.9 km swimming in the Aurlandsfjord, a 98km super scenic bike segment that takes goes over the Aurlandsfjellet twice, and then finishes up with a breathtaking 21km run that also has a ton of elevation gain.

Good times for sure and a memory of a lifetime.

The great video of the race from 2014 is by Peter Sjogren.
