ST Road Show - Minneapolis

Following back to back Road Shows in Texas, the Slowtwitch Ice Cream truck rolled in to Minnesota’s Twin Cities over the weekend. NOW Bikes has been a stalwart in Minneapolis and St. Paul for 40 years and running and the triathlon business continues to grow each year.

Slowman arrived in style onboard Minnesota’s unofficial state bike, the fat bike.

NOW Bikes co-owner, Bob Sumada, brought in coffee and pastries to get the day started on the right foot.

: Cruiser bike time trials took place throughout the day but HED’s Andy Tetmeyer was less concerned with a fast time.

Kris Swarthout (left) and Jeremy Sartain (middle) are omnipresent throughout the Twin Cities endurance community and together are producing the USAT Winter Triathlon National Championships in January 2017. Mac McEneaney is based out of Chicago but between his years at Quintana Roo and his work now at Cervélo has covered the Minnesota and Midwest market for nearly two decades.

Slowman’s bike fit schedule once again booked solid throughout the day.

Varick Olson, PhD P.T. spoke on how best to prevent injuries during training.

There was sunshine. There was rain. There was beer.

And, there were brats.

Tim Mulrooney from HED always has time for those wanting to make themselves faster on a bike.

Mike from Final K Coaching was one of the local stakeholders who set up inside NOW Bikes.

At the end of the day, NOW raffled off a TYR wetsuit, a Garmin Edge, and many more items.

Slowtwitch raffled off a few of the Castelli T1: Stealth aero tops and luck of the draw put them in the hands of a husband and wife couple!
