Sabatschus and Granger on top in China

Despite temperatures in the high 90s and 94% humidity, Olaf Sabatschus won the inaugural Ironman China with a very impressive running performance. Belinda Granger looked smooth throughout the women's race and took the title with an almost 30 minute cushion.

Patrick Vernay repeated his title at Port Macquarie and now has 3 Australian Ironman titles to his name. Chrissie Wellington meanwhile proved that her win in Hawaii was no fluke and took the women's race at Panther’s Ironman Australia 2008 and 9th place overall. 4.06.08
