Slowtwitch at Nautica live!

The Slowtwitch Ice Cream Truck and its bald, bias ply tires rumbles into New York City this weekend, along with Andy Potts, Greg Bennett and Matty Reed, for the Nautica New York City Triathlon. Two weeks ago we were treated to a three-up sprint finish in Minnesota (photo adjacent), and if the race plays out like last week, we'll see a sprint through Central Park.
Joining these three will be last year's Chicago Tri winner Stuart Hayes, and young East Coast speedster Andrew Yoder.
These men come to New York chasing the Toyota Cup, earned through results gained at the five Series races. The Nautica NYC race is the second of the five.
Among the women, Julie Dibens and Becky Lavelle headline the field.
These were two of the top three at the Life Time race two weeks ago. Lavelle finished second here in New York last year.
The men's race commences at 5:50AM Eastern Time, the women 3 minutes later. Our coverage will start at 5:30 Eastern, and will be found here:

Bennett and Blatchford victorious in the Big Apple
