Unboxed: fi'zi:k Tritone

We just received a fi'zi:k Tritone saddle and now we share the unboxing of that product. We had actually seen the saddle itself at Eurobike when it was unveiled but only had it in our hands for a few minutes. Now we have a Tritone in our possession.

The goal in the end will be to compare the fi'zi:k Tritone to the Specialized Sitero and an ISM Adamo, but for now let us get this saddle of the box.

As our test Cervelo P5 is set up for carbon rails we opted for the Tritone Carbon Braided version.

The box is very elegant and any high-end product could easily be supported by this one.

Ok, this is what we got. An all black fi'zi:k Tritone Carbon Braided with the carriage kit that contains a transition hook, CO2 + tube holder and bottle cage holders.

The Tritone is protected by a plastic bag and the cloth bag contains the carriage kit.

Finally free from all the constraints and the attention to detail is quite nice.

The view from the front.

The underbelly of the Tritone shows the carbon braided rails well.

Up close with the front of the saddle and you can see the transition hook.

This is where you mount the cage holders and the CO2 cartridge.

On a scale the saddle weighed 225 grams. 5 grams more than advertised in the box.

Here are the bottle cage mounts and hardware for the carriage kit.

Weighing in at 33 grams.

Total length of the saddle: 240mm
Widest width: 134mm
Nose width: 60mm
Channel depth: 10mm near nose
