Vanhoenacker and Wallenhorst rule Ironman Austria

Marino Vanhoenacker (BEL) dominated the 2008 Ironman Austria and thus grabbed his 3rd consecutive Ironman Austria title. The women's crown was taken by Sandra Wallenhorst (GER) who briefly held the fastest time at the Iron distance with her time of 8:47:25. That time time though was later eclipsed by Yvonne Van Vlerken's time of 8:45:48 at Quelle Challenge in Roth.

Hungarians sweep IM Arizona
What will be remembered as one of the closest Ironman finishes ever, Jozsef Major grabbed his very first title with an amazing run at the 2008 Ironman Arizona. Erika Csomor who hails from the same town in Hungary took the women’s crown with an equally impressive running performance. 4.14.08

Your article should note that Sandra Wallenhorst's record is still the official Ironman world best time, as Roth is not a WTC event and the course is not officially sanctioned.
