It seems that in the last few months a few new TT bikes came out that virtually dated many bikes that seemed quite exciting not so long ago. Sadly enough many of these exotic bikes are seemingly not available to the public or at least not yet, but the Giant Trinity Advanced SL might be showing up at local races not too far from now.

Just a few days after Timo Bracht won Ironman Europe in course record time on his Giant TT bike and around the time when Denis Menchov of team Rabobank slid out in a corner during the TTT of the 09 Tour de France, Giant announced that the bike that had no name until recently will be available to consumers later this summer. After five generations of race proven prototypes, this bike is now named Giant Trinity Advanced SL.

According to Giant, the 2010 Trinity Advanced SL series will be offered in various component selections and price points, with the top end Trinity Advanced SL 0 featuring a Shimano Dura-Ace 7900 Di2 electronic component group, Zipp wheels and all kinds of other high end goodies.

One of the unique aspects of this bike is the integrated front end, and Giant calls this element of the Trinity Advanced SL AeroDrive and it features an aerodynamically honed stem-and-fork control center that locks the stem, steerer and fork crown into a single structural unit.
