SRAM has added another group to their offerings and we certainly noticed. The new SRAM Apex group offers a wider gear range plus trickle down technology from the more expensive siblings.
SRAM Apex
What: The new SRAM Apex group features double compact chain rings (50/34), a new long cage rear derailleur and an 11-32 tooth cassette, and that should allow athletes to pretty much tackle any climbs they might encounter. SRAM calls this new technology WiFLi. Apex also gets Reach Adjust, Exact Actuation™, ZeroLoss™, and, DoubleTap®.
Available: Spring 2010
