For our final cross-country, marathon, XTERRA bike segment we look at sub $2,000 bikes. We present the Scott Spark 50, Giant XTC 29er, Felt Nine Comp, Rocky Mountain Element 30 and Specialized Stumpjumper Comp.

Scott Spark 50

What: With quite a nice component package, the Scott Spark 50 just squeezes in under the $2,000 mark and offers quite a bit of trickle-down technology from the more expensive siblings.
Sizes: S, M, L, XL
Color: Black - Yellow
MSRP: $1,999.99

Giant XTC 29er 2

What: The Giant XTC 29er 2 is a sweet 29” wheel hardtail that is ready to be raced at sub $1,400 and would also serve quite well as a fun bike around town.
Sizes: S, M, L, XL
Color: Grey
MSRP: $1,350

Felt Nine Comp

What: The Felt Nine Comp is the least expensive bike in this round of interesting mountain bikes to consider and also runs on 29” hoops.
Sizes: 15.5, 17.5, 19.5, 21.5”
Color: Gloss Porter Brown
MSRP: $1,199

Rocky Mountain Element 30

What: The Rocky Mountain Element offers 100mm of travel via its 3D Link suspension and runs on 26” wheels. This isn’t the exact model Geoff Kabush is riding, but it is inspired by it.
Sizes: 15, 16.5, 18, 19, 20.5”
Color: Silver / Black
MSRP: $1,600

Specialized Stumpjumper Comp

What: The Stumpjumper is still around after all these years, but this isn’t your dad’s Stumpjumper. Plus you can have this Comp model with either 26” or 29” wheels.
Sizes: 15.5, 17.5, 19, 21"
Color: Charcoal
MSRP: $1,750 ($1,850 as a 29er)
