Zamora Perez and Dogana conquer Ironman France

Marcel Zamora Perez (ESP) won the 2008 Ironman France thanks in part to a fantastic 2:45:21 run split. Martina Dogana (ITA) set a new course record as she took the women's title with a 25 minute cushion over her closest pursuer.

Hungarians sweep IM Arizona
What will be remembered as one of the closest Ironman finishes ever, Jozsef Major grabbed his very first title with an amazing run at the 2008 Ironman Arizona. Erika Csomor who hails from the same town in Hungary took the women’s crown with an equally impressive running performance. 4.14.08
Bayliss and Comerford victorious in South Africa
Stephen Bayliss showed tremendous patience and tenacity as he won the 2008 Ironman South Africa and with it, his very first Ironman title. Bella Comerford, not to be outdone by her fiance Stephen Bayliss, took the women’s race with a very strong run. 4.13.08
Vernay and Wellington fly in OZ
Patrick Vernay repeated his title at Port Macquarie and now has 3 Australian Ironman titles to his name. Chrissie Wellington meanwhile proved that her win in Hawaii was no fluke and took the women's race at Panther’s Ironman Australia 2008 and 9th place overall. 4.06.08
