The Tillquist BMC TM-01

We typically only feature Pro bike galleries, but every now and then the machine of an amateur catches our eye - and here now is the BMC TM-01 of Morten Tillquist.

40-year old Morten lives in Denmark and likes to race UCI road TT events, but he does not dabble in triathlons. For a reader and poster on our site to not partake in triathlons is not unusual, and here is the post where Morten introduced fellow slowtwitchers to his new bike plus you can also find his detailed bike setup numbers when you click on his profile.

As this size Medium S BMC TM-01 sits here in the sun it weighs 8,030 grams. Morten is 1.80 meters tall and the drop is 21 cm.

Morten has a Shimano Pro cockpit on his BMC TM-01.

Morten Tillquist rides on a ProLogo Nago EVO HB with carbon rails.

Morten said that the " Mavic IO front wheel I always use as first choice. And Zipp 808 front wheel will only be used there is cross wind of 10m/s or more."

The view of the cockpit from above. Notice also the slick Garmin mount.

THis version looks quite a bit slicker than the prototype he had posted in a thread a few months back.

It is somewhat fitting that the 11th image of this bike features the Campagnolo 11-speed shifters.
