This annual event could be a unique carbo-loading experience for those headed to Kona, and a complete fun time for those who will stay home. There is still time to shop for Lederhosen and Dirndls and get to Munich, plus you can scout the Challenge Roth course, which isn’t too far away.

The NFL non profit status

What: It was quite surprising to learn this weekend that the NFL (National Football League) enjoys a non-profit organization status, and when considering that the NFL is a $9 billion a year operation, and that commissioner Roger Goodell earns almost $30 million a year, that is especially annoying. The NFL was also in the news this weekend with the 6 game suspension of Bronco’s linebacker Von Miller for reportedly unsuccessfully trying to corrupt the NFL’s drug testing program. 6 games, really? But that is a different story. There is now a move to revoke the tax-exempt status from the NFL and you too can sign this petition on change.org below. There really is no reason why they should be tax-exempt, just like World Triathlon Corporation the should be listed as a for-profit group and pay taxes.
