Changes in 2008 seem to be more frequent in the middle of the year in comparison to other years. We saw several prominent athletes switch their rides in last few weeks alone and our document seems to evolve constantly.

Not too many folks would have predicted that Jarrod Shoemaker would earn himself a ticket to the 2008 Olympic games and/or appear on a Wheaties cereal box. But Jarrod made both those scenarios come true and he chatted with Slowtwitch before the ITU Worlds in Vancouver. 6.04.08
In 2002 Leanda Cave surprised many folks when she won the ITU World Championships in Cancun, Mexico. Not content with ITU racing, Leanda started to race longer distance events a few years later and now really is a force to be reckoned with on all distances. 4.10.08
Simon Whitfield won 3 World Cup ITU races in 2007, is ranked second in the World and is currently getting ready for his 3rd trip to the Olympics. He is also a very proud dad and gave Slowtwitch a few minutes of his time. 12.20.07
