Training Camps Offered: TRISTAR ATHLETE BASE CAMP 2010

SOLVANG, CA

February 21st-Feb 28th, 2010

March 25th-March 30th, 2010 (2nd camp alternate date)

The Tristar Athlete Triathlon Camp offers the ideal opportunity to escape the cold weather and get some warm weather miles under your belt before the season starts. Tristar's Coach Cliff has teamed up with Coach Haluk, (former Turkish Olympic track star), to offer this California camp. Solvang offers some of the most challenging cycling roads that are like none other in the USA. It has been described as ‘The closest you can get to European cycling without leaving North America!’ Cycling is the emphasis of the camp, but the itinerary also allows plenty of opportunities to swim and run. There will be rides each day, some epic long stuff and shorter recovery riding between, including a ride up Figueroa Mountain. The camp is open to triathletes with half iron to ironman experience. The camp is five days devoted to training and recovery...with miles of smiles guaranteed.
Map location is based off of a geocode of the addressed entered using Google's Google Maps API. If your address does not geocode properly, you can either update the address (we will attempt to re-geocode after any updates to your entry) or you can use Google's geocoding tool found here: http://gmaps-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/geocoder/singlegeocode.html to obtain a lat/long for your location and enter that. To use the utility, type in an address that is close to your location and then drag-and-drop the marker to obtain the desired lat/long. If you choose to enter a lat/long, you must check the box on the edit page that says, "override geocode with entered lat/long."
