General Info: Marc Evans has been inspiring excellence in endurance athletes and their coaches since debuting as triathlon’s first professional coach in 1981. A two-time head coach for USA Triathlon, Marc led the elite 12 member team at the first World Championship in 1989 when Mark Allen won the gold medal for team USA.



As the Director of Endurance Sports for the Ironman Sports and Endurance Center from 1985 to 1987, Marc worked with medical director and conference founder, Ferdy Massimino, M.D. During this time, Marc directed the endurance sports training camp for triathletes and conducted lectures on swimming, cycling and running biomechanics and training periodization.



Marc has lectured and conducted teaching clinics for triathlon federations around the world in such locations as, Mexico, Canada, Moscow, Netherlands, France, Switzerland and Demark.



Today, Marc is an internationally respected coach, a resource for coaches and their athletes, self-coached athletes, an exceptional addition to training camps as a consulting movement and technique instructor at the highest level for swimming, cycling and running, speaker and author of 4 book.

Today, Marc continues to fine-tune technique for athletes worldwide, and thoroughly enjoys working one-on-one with athletes of all levels. Additionally, Marc is the “go to resource” for endurance coaches whose athletes are interested in elevating their technical performance. Working alongside coaches, he provides movement evaluations and recommendations for better performances through enhanced technique development and consulting on the broader apects of training and preparation.

MEC has a unique and collaborative style of assessing an athlete’s movement and providing realistic ideas to complement current training programs.

In addition, MEC offers a variety of coach’s athlete, team, club clinics on topics ranging from movement and stability evaluations to swimming, cycling and running body line and biomechanics teaching. Coaches of all experience and/or certification levels are welcome.
