10.1.00 PROFILE DESIGN JOINS SLOWTWITCH/TRILIVE KONA COVERAGE TEAM-- The Kona Bike Survey, initiated in 1992 by the Slowtwitch editorial staff, has found a partner in Profile Design. The Carson, California based maker of triathlon-specific equipment will sponsor the Survey this year.
9.30.00 SOUTHERNMAN GOES ONLINE-- Slowtwitch.com and Triathlonlive.com announce a partnership with Ironman South Africa. All parties will create a website that will aid Northern Hemisphere athletes who want to enter train for, and travel to the race. The website will have all the features one would expect from an information site plus much, much more -- including a sample of what such a trip would cost; a training schedule for the race; info on visas, innoculations, travel advisories; wild animal preserves and other "off-duty" adventures; and much, much more.
9.15.00 KJERAG.COM JOINS SLOWTWITCH/TRILIVE KONA COVERAGE TEAM-- European endurance sports portal Kjerag.com, from Brussels, Belgium, joins forced with Slowtwitch and Triathlonlive to produce online coverage of the Hawaiian Ironman in Kona. For its part, Kjerag.com will specifically target the the gathering and hosting the information on European contestants.
