Slowtwitch Party Tour

2003 (www.slowtwitch.com)

When it comes to our own racing we (at Slowtwitch) are not as interested in which races, or organizations, or conglomerations, have the slickest or richest or best-marketed string of events. "All I want to do," sings Sheryl Crow, "is have some fun." Maybe we've got triathlon's recipe for that.

It's not just the "party" aspect in which we're interested. It's the totality of what might be meant if one reports back from a race, "That was epic."

What would epic signify? You know it when you see it, of course, and in the case of the new races below, they just smell like epics-to-be.

We'll devote space to each of them (the new, the obscure, the famous, the established) after they take place, and we'll prompt you with an abstract on our front page when we've overviewed each of these events. (We may sneak another event or two... or three... on this schedule as well).
