You'll select this option if you want to place a deposit securing a space on a F.I.S.T. Road Bike Fit Workshop. These take place Thur/Fri, and follow a Mon/Tue Tri Bike Fit Workshop.

It is a portable, stand-alone, workshop. You do not have to take the Tri Bike Fit Workshop to take this workshop. You may arrive on Wed, or Thur morning if you wish, take this 2-day workshop, and then you're F.I.S.T. Road Certified.

However, if you wish to take both the Tri and Road Workshops, you must register for each to secure space in each.

Why do we offer road workshops? Two reasons. First, while many road fit protocols adequately identify fit coordinates, few take the next step and match those coordinates to equipment on a retailer's floor. Further, if they do take that second step, the equipment identified is often parochial, that is, it's limited to bikes made by a single brand.

Secondly, most all retailers and fitters would prefer one thematic style of fitting for both road and tri; one set of tools; one fit studio that works for both. This, even though the fit coordinates yielded by a road fit workshop will certainly be very different than the coordinates for that same rider's tri bike.

Choose a date from the options available and you'll have saved space for that workshop. Remember, if you choose to stay the entire week, Mon thru Fri, you'll need to also register and save space for a tri bike workshop taking place Mon/Tue as well.

Every workshop is portable and optional. You can sign up for just tri bike fit on Mon/Tue, just road bike fit on Thur/Fri, just John Cobb or Paul Swift; any combination of two of these workshops; or all three workshops.

2. All F.I.S.T. workshops (except one) begin eacf day at 9AM. The Tri Bike Workshp ends Tuesday between 4PM and 7PM, depending on how long you want to stay and practice the fitting process. The Road Bike Workshop will end between 4PM and 7PM on Friday.

4. The workshops themselves cost $695, not including room and board. When you register here, you'll be charged $295 as a deposit. You'll pay the balance on the second day of the two-day workshop.

5. You can indicate on the registration whether you'll want to attend the third day. There is no additional deposit you'll have to pay. After you complete this registration, you'll receive a follow-up email, asking if you wish to attend the optional third day.

6. Costs: $695 for each 2-day workshop ($295 paid upon registration, $400 on day-2 of the workshop). If you choose to be here for the Wednesday workshop, this will cost $175. These workshop charges do NOT include room and board.

7. Most attendees stay next door at a B&B run by ex pro triathlete Mark Montgomery. This is not mandatory, just typical. There is always room at the B&B for all attendees, but you must make a separate reservation for accommodations. You may reach Mark Montgomery at 310-990-1400 or via email.
