General Information

Club Info: SUX TRI CLUB is dedicated to helping anyone train for Sprint, Olympic, Half Ironman, and Ironman races. Our members include beginning triathletes and world class athletes. With more than 60 active members we are one of the largest multisport clubs in the Sioux City Tri-State Area.
Club Sponsors: We have limited sponsors but they are primarily local. Information on our current sponsors can be found on our website at www.suxtriclub.com
Club Discounts: Various discounts offered through Xterra, Albrecht's Cycle Shop, Peak Performance, and Science Nutrition
Directions to Workouts & Meeting Location(s): Most of our workouts are organized through email and Facebook. Mc Cook Lake is our open water swim location and is located in SE South Dakota. The YMCA in South Sioux City is the club's "Home Gym" and we organize several workouts through the season there.
Club Workout Schedule: Random workouts but starting in May we will begin open water swim Tuesdays and group rides on Saturdays and/or Sundays depending on weather.
Club Meetings & Events Schedule: The Board meets about once per month and our club is looking to have general club meetings for members and potential meetings 4 times per year with an annual awards banquet at the end of the season following IMAZ.
Map location is based off of a geocode of the addressed entered using Google's Google Maps API. If your address does not geocode properly, you can either update the address (we will attempt to re-geocode after any updates to your entry) or you can use Google's geocoding tool found here: http://gmaps-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/geocoder/singlegeocode.html to obtain a lat/long for your location and enter that. To use the utility, type in an address that is close to your location and then drag-and-drop the marker to obtain the desired lat/long. If you choose to enter a lat/long, you must check the box on the edit page that says, "override geocode with entered lat/long."
