General Information

Club Info: The purpose of the West Sound Triathlon Club is to serve triathletes of all abilities by offering support through contact with other athletes and the triathlon community as a whole.

The West Sound Triathlon Club members’ experience level ranges from first timer to professional. The Club is here to support all levels of triathletes by offering training sessions, organized races, coached clinics, monthly meetings, social activities and more.

Monthly Meetings are held at Roundtable Pizza in Silverdale on the third Tuesday (6:00 p.m.) of each month. All are welcome to attend.

Central Kitsap Junior High School Track

There will be a small group starting to work out at the CKJHS track to do speedwork. Keep watching times may change… This week (April 1st) we will be doing speed work on WEDNESDAY at 6:00 pm at CKJHS. (400, 800, mile ladders)

Wednesdays @ 5:00pm
Poulsbo (from Poulsbo Running Store)

Silverdale Waterfront Park (head of the pier)

The groups leaves at 7:30 sharp and either runs Clear Creek Trail or Chico. All paces and distances welcome. Contact Greg at frogpel@yahoo.com for more info. See map at bottom of this page.

Poulsbo trail run (Stottlemeyer Road)
Every Sunday morning at 8 a.m., trail runners are welcome to meet at the Stottlemeyer Road parking lot next to the Pope Resources land outside Poulsbo. The current group, both men and women, runs slower miles and generally spends an hour on the trails in the Pope logging property, where the Roots Rock series races are held. The parking lot is a gravel pull-off from Stottlemeyer Road, a few hundred yards north of the intersection with Gracey Trail Lane. The trailhead is across the street. Saturday morning Bremerton Kitsap Lake (Red Apple parking lot) Every Saturday morning between six and a dozen runners meet at Kitsap Lake, just outside Bremerton, for a comfortable 4-mile run around the lake. Men and women of all ages are welcome, and some stick around for breakfast together at the Big Apple Diner after the exercise. Runners meet in the parking lot of the Ralph’s Red Apple Market on Kitsap Way. For more information, contact John Gardner at 692-8994.

1-2 hour Ride. Nobody will ride alone.

Club Meetings & Events Schedule: The West Sound Triathlon Club holds monthly meetings at Roundtable Pizza in Silverdale on the third Tuesday (6:00 p.m.) of each month.
