New Arab team launched in Egypt

Last weekend in Luxor, Egypt the Alameda o.n. Triathlon Team was launched and its most well known member is World Champion Leanda Cave. Eimear Mullan, Lawrence Fanous and Omar Nour also serve as elite ambassadors for the team whose goal it is to get more young Arabs to embrace the sport of triathlon.

The bike sponsor for the team has not yet been announced, but we have a very strong feeling it may be .....

It is tough to imagine a more impressive team launch site than Luxor.

Leanda Cave looks to make a fresh start with this new team.

A collaboration with the Arab Triathlon Confederation will see the Alameda o.n. Tri Team visiting schools, sports clubs and large public gatherings around the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region throughout the year, to promote an active and healthy lifestyle, and bring more awareness to the sport of triathlon. With the assistance of the Confederation, the team will also be able to sponsor and nurture young talent.

The website for the team is alamedaontriteam.com.
