James Cunnama's Cervelo P5

2012 Challenge Roth champion James Cunnama is back to defend his title at this year's DATEV Challenge Roth edition and we took a closer look at his 56cm Cervelo P5-3 a couple days before it will be in full action.

The fast South African looks very confident and relaxed.

This will be the last event for this P5 under Cunnama. James has already a new matte black P5-6 but did not want switch to a new bike a couple weeks before this key race.

Cunnama recently moved lower in the front with the 3T Aduro X Low bar and that also brought him more forward.

Cunnama uses the XLab storage behind the stem.

A bit of ingenuity and sticky tap allows him to mount the Cateye Strade computer on the stem.

A bit of a modification was also done to get the Arundel cage on the X Low bar setup.

On the downtube Cunnama trusts this Specialized cage.

As James moved lower in the front he switched to a Cobb V Flow Plus saddle.

The Xlab cage is securely mounted behind the Cobb saddle.

Cunnama rides 172.5 cranks and 55 cog mated to an 11-25 cassette.

No Campagnolo EPS here, it is 11 speed Record mechanical shifting.

Up front Cunnama rides a 3T Mercurio 60 Ltd.
