Meet the new Orbea Ordu OME

The Orbea Ordu OMR is the bike raced by Andrew Starykowicz, but to reach a broader mass Orbea now introduced the Orbea Ordu OME. This bike starts as low as $2399, but you can have it ultra fancy for $7,599. It is a UCI legal bike and will also be provided to their road teams for TT purposes.

The one we are featuring here is the top dog of the 6 Evolution (OME) models.

This Ordu OME comes in this color theme that has some blue highlights inside the frame, plus there is also a mostly black and red version.

A closer look at the front triangle of the Orbea Ordu OME.

Orbea opted for a slippery exposed brake up front and a more standard fork, versus having a hidden brake either within or behind the fork.

The TriRig Omega is very popular with folks who try to clean up their front end. No need to do that here.

A simple external clamp holds the seat post of the Ordu in place.

Vision Trimax Carbon bars are standard on this Ordu model.

The down tube is also ready for a variety of fuel and storage solutions.

As long as manufacturers have mostly black race bikes with all carbon or black bits, Vision really needs to make this chain ring black or carbon colored.

This Orbea Ordu is set up with an Ultegra Di22 group.

According to Orbea, this Prologo triathlon saddle is unique to Orbea.

At first glance this looks like the popular Ritchey One Bolt design, but it is an ADK one.

The junction box hides below the stem in this case.

The internal battery does not fit inside the post, and thus the regular battery below the chain stay mount was chosen.

The inside graphics are visible here, but not so much with a disc wheel.

The same blue graphics are also on the inside of the fork.
