Course Info: The reservoir offers some of the cleanest water around, and features 65 to 70 degree water temperature in May. Wetsuits are encouraged for safety, but are not mandatory. The swim course is well marked and participants swim around a natural wooded and tree-lined peninsula. Swimmers follow the shoreline and finish at the boat ramp on the opposite side of the start.
The bike is a loop of the lake that takes in ~450ft of climbing.
The 5 mile run will be out and back on Uvas Rd. It is completely paved and lined with trees and right along UVAS Reservoir. You will have water and electrolyte hydration available every mile on the run course.
