Course Info: The course begins in beautiful Deep Lake, known for it's clear cool water - water temp expected in the low 70's. The bike course travels along the base of the Cascade foothills with a surprisingly low overall elevation gain - great for beginners or those looking for a fast fun bike. The bike elevation is much the same - a few small bumps but nothing considered a 'hill'. All races include 2 laps around Lake Nolte which is a hard-packed gravel trail. No trail shoes necessary.

More: Nolte State park in Enumclaw is a beautiful, rural, family-friendly park that families can enjoy during the day with a swim beach, kids play area, and generous picnic area as their athletes come and go through transition. After the race, everyone can enjoy a full meal, finishers medal, and an awards celebration that awards the top 3 overall men and women in each race, and the top-3 finishers of each age group and relay.

Map location is based off of a geocode of the addressed entered using Google's Google Maps API. If your address does not geocode properly, you can either update the address (we will attempt to re-geocode after any updates to your entry) or you can use Google's geocoding tool found here: http://gmaps-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/geocoder/singlegeocode.html to obtain a lat/long for your location and enter that. To use the utility, type in an address that is close to your location and then drag-and-drop the marker to obtain the desired lat/long. If you choose to enter a lat/long, you must check the box on the edit page that says, "override geocode with entered lat/long."
