Registration fees included or disclosed up front?: Not specified whether registration/convenience fees are added. Course Info: There is a Sprint and Olympic distance triathlon alongside an aquabike and duathlon. Courses are the same but the following is written for the Olympic.
The two loop swim starts on the natural sand beach on Lake Erie. The course is expected to be a rectangular loop (depending on wind and surface chop). The water temperature is typically in the 60s to low 70s. Wetsuits will be allowed.
2 lap bike course on reasonably flat terrain.
The running surface of this course is a mix of grass and pavement. It is located entirely within Evangola State Park. There will be three aid stations approximately 1 mile apart, per loop, with water and HEED. This gives athletes the option to hydrate 6 times on the course.
