This 56.2 mile ride will take you through Ponderosa pines, the high desert and many small towns and communities. This course is hilly, but fast, with a few larger rollers at about the 40 mile mark. Aquabike folks get to call it a day after this!
The DeuceMan run course takes athletes along a nicely groomed, scenic trail around Fool Hollow Lake and then into the campgrounds for a tour and lots of encouragement from the campers. A rolling out and back along 16th Ave lets you know where you stand in comparison to your competition, just know that it feels a lot longer than it really is! From there you?ll follow the roads back to the start/finish area, but if you are on lap 1, you?ll have to pass right by and do another short out and back before starting all over again. Next time you come around, though, you?ll take that right turn to the finish line!
More: Part of a massive multisport festival with many running distances and Sprint, Xterra, Olympic, Youth and Half triathlon events.
Awards 3 deep for overall winners of each race (except youth race)
Awards 3 deep in each Age Group (except Aquabike and run events*) - Male and Female
Map location is based off of a geocode of the addressed entered using Google's Google Maps API. If your address does not geocode properly, you can either update the address (we will attempt to re-geocode after any updates to your entry) or you can use Google's geocoding tool found here: http://gmaps-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/geocoder/singlegeocode.html to obtain a lat/long for your location and enter that. To use the utility, type in an address that is close to your location and then drag-and-drop the marker to obtain the desired lat/long. If you choose to enter a lat/long, you must check the box on the edit page that says, "override geocode with entered lat/long."
