General Information
Registration fees included or disclosed up front?: Not specified whether registration/convenience fees are added. Course Info: The swim is in the small confines of Big Fish Lake, which means a two loop swim course for Olympic athletes. Typically there are a few weeds right at the swim start.
The bike course and run course are what everyone loves; very fast, but a challenging, rolling course. Flat in the middle and back, rolling in the first and last 5k. Same for the run but reverse, flat in the beginning and rolling in the back side. It is on a dirt road that rolls along scenic farmland where you can see horses on either side.
More: ?Good venue to ?kick start? your season, nice bike with a few rollers to make things honest at the end of your ride. The run is easy on the legs with more rolling hills to test your will.?

Directions: This is a state park so all vehicles must have a Recreational Passport to enter the park. Michigan residents can purchase a passport at the Secretary of State when renewing vehicle tags or at the park office, the pass is good for an entire a year at all State Parks.
Map location is based off of a geocode of the addressed entered using Google's Google Maps API. If your address does not geocode properly, you can either update the address (we will attempt to re-geocode after any updates to your entry) or you can use Google's geocoding tool found here: http://gmaps-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/geocoder/singlegeocode.html to obtain a lat/long for your location and enter that. To use the utility, type in an address that is close to your location and then drag-and-drop the marker to obtain the desired lat/long. If you choose to enter a lat/long, you must check the box on the edit page that says, "override geocode with entered lat/long."
