The 70.3 Mile HALF DISTANCE course deemed The CVC SAN DIEGO HALF, will provide San Diego triathletes as well as regional, national and international athletes a chance to compete in a longer endurance event. The Half will be limited to 200 athletes so early registration is encouraged.

More: The Chula Vista Challenge (CVC) in its 8th year is proud to announce a new partnership with KOZ Events, San Diego's premier endurance event producers and Pulse Endurance Sports. Expect new routes and a fresh new race experience for individuals and relay teams, with 10 races to choose from including International, Sprint, & Youth Triathlons, Duathlon, Aqua Bike.

Directions: ALL Racers Including ALL MINI and ITSY BITSY Should be at Race Venue before 7:45 am many of you will need to be there much earlier of the start of your race - this is when the intersection into the venue at J street / Bay Blvd will be closed for the race. The police will meter people through when they can, but this causes a long back up of cars. It is very likely that all parking in the area west of Bay Blvd will be taken up before 7:00 AM, therefore allow yourself time to park and ride or walk in. It is best practice to come early and cheer on others while you wait for your race.

Map location is based off of a geocode of the addressed entered using Google's Google Maps API. If your address does not geocode properly, you can either update the address (we will attempt to re-geocode after any updates to your entry) or you can use Google's geocoding tool found here: http://gmaps-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/geocoder/singlegeocode.html to obtain a lat/long for your location and enter that. To use the utility, type in an address that is close to your location and then drag-and-drop the marker to obtain the desired lat/long. If you choose to enter a lat/long, you must check the box on the edit page that says, "override geocode with entered lat/long."
