General Info: We provide a variety of services, specializing particularly in the training and treatment of endurance runners and triathletes.
These athletes have unique injury recovery needs that are not often met in a typical clinical setting. If you have ever suffered from a running injury and been told simply to "stop running" in order to fix the problem, we are here to help. If you simply want to train for a specific event, we will get it done.
One of our most important services is running gait and technique evaluation, which is a full-on, super thorough 3 hour assessment geared toward either performance or injury recovery. Any on-site treatment and evaluation emphasizes hands-on techniques and is provided only in a one-on-one fashion, which means you are guided down a quicker and less complicated path to a pain-free outcome.
I have trained for running and cycling since 1995 and triathlon since 1999 so I understand the desire to get back to training when you are injured. My training focus lately is on ultra-marathons. My BS and MS were focused on exercise physiology with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy coming after those early years.
Check out www.mountainridgept.com to schedule an appointment or get in touch. In-person coaching $225 per month for custom running plans with greater communication and meeting 1-2 times per week. Ba Training Camps Offered: Refer to the website for any workshops planned.
Map location is based off of a geocode of the addressed entered using Google's Google Maps API. If your address does not geocode properly, you can either update the address (we will attempt to re-geocode after any updates to your entry) or you can use Google's geocoding tool found here: http://gmaps-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/geocoder/singlegeocode.html to obtain a lat/long for your location and enter that. To use the utility, type in an address that is close to your location and then drag-and-drop the marker to obtain the desired lat/long. If you choose to enter a lat/long, you must check the box on the edit page that says, "override geocode with entered lat/long."
