Club Info: Ghisallo Racing is a team that provides support, training, education and socialization for recreational or competitive Cyclists, Triathletes and Runners
We started out just like other bike racing and triathlon teams in the area. A few guys and girls that enjoyed racing and shopping at Ghisallo Sports purchased custom Ghisallo clothing to wear while participating in their races of choice. Ghisallo Racing started developing into what it has become today in June of 2007. Deanna Kakouris started the Women’s Only Ride which quickly evolved into an interest for a recreational cycling club. With the support of Corky Miller, Tim and Deanna Kakouris and dedicated team members, Ghisallo Racing became a more organized team in 2008. Ghisallo Racing was made up of 4 separate groups: Bike Racing, Cycling Club, Triathlon Team and Running Club. Realizing that several people on the team ended up participating in more than one group we decided to combine all 4 groups into one team providing unlimited access to information, training and support for cycling, triathlon and running regardless of interest and/or ability. Now, when you become a member of Ghisallo Racing you have the ability to participate in recreational cycling, bike racing, triathlon and running. We are very excited about this unique team structure and find it to be very beneficial for all members, regardless of sport preference and/or ability.
We now have a committed Team Manager, Julie Harbor who oversees all the responsibilities of the team. She is assisted by the Ghisallo Racing Board Members.

* Wheels over Wildwood (Three day event with time trial, circuit race, charity bike ride and kids race)

* Rally in the Valley

* Gumbo Flats Pumpkin Run
