2013 Eurobike - Day 1

The Demo Day of the 2013 Eurobike trade show is now in the books and we spent time in the quaint Ratzenried, Allgäu area today to see what is new and what was going on.

A decently nice but overcast day greeted exhibitors and visitors alike, but as the day wore on the anticipated rain finally came. That though was late enough to allow lots of folks to try out, see and touch new bikes and other products, plus sample the local cuisine.

Quite a few road bikes and some tri bikes were there, but the Demo Day is dominated by mountain bikes. Plus e-bikes are very popular in a part of the world where the bike is seen as a transport option and not just sporting equipment.
