There are still 4 days to go until the 2008 Ironman Hawaii, but the venues are already busy as if the race where tomorrow. We went down to the swim start this morning and checked out the action there.

The sun is barely out and Tom Ziebart is ready for action in the Gatorade tent.

The Coffees of Hawaii crew is ready to head out the set up the floating espresso bar.

I think we have now seen it all. :-)

Chris Lieto and Linsey Corbin are ready to test the waters.

Simon Lessing swam a bit too, but he is in Kona to help out with the CEO challenge.

Chris Lieto showed up at the pier with his "other ride."

People were constantly checking out the bike map.

Chrissie Wellington ran into Sam McGlone at the swim start and they had a lengthy, friendly chat.

Jimmy Riccitello and Roch Frey also managed to get a little swim in.

By about 8am it really gets busy.

Chris Lieto interviewed Craig Alexander.

Macca about to deposit his gear in the tent, but he got held up a few times.

Cam Widoff is in Kona to support Macca.
