Rio Olympic Triathlons

Wagner Araújo had one of his images selected as the 2013 National Geographic travel photo contest winner, and here he offers his take on his home country Olympic Triathlons.

At the beginning of the Olympic men’s run, you can see the strain on Alistair Brownlee’s (1st place) face as he chases brother Jonny (3rd place) with Vincent Luis of France (7th place) close behind.

The chasers included Joao Pereira (POR) (5th place, 2nd-best 30:38 run), Richard Murray (RSA) (4th place, race-best 30:34 run), Mario Mola (ESP) (8th-place 31:12 run), and Ryan Bailie (AUS) (10th-place, 31:53 run).
