The 2013 Sea Otter Classic Festival opened the gates earlier this morning and here are some impressions from the activities on this very beautiful day. Ever year around this time thousands of cycling fans and athletes take the pilgrimage to Laguna Seca Raceway just outside Monterey, California for this very special cycling festival.

The Pro/1/2 field got started earlier today with a criterium.

The CashCall team was very aggressive.

But there aren't just roadies and MTB cross country riders here.

Walz caps has an interesting selection offering.

Barfly TT allows with its 8turn receiver to mount the Garmin receivers and watches in various positions.

Barfly 2.0 for Garmin has a two position mount option and integrates a mounting option for a junction box.

A closer look at the Barfly 2.0 without any thing attached to it.

The Endurance Conspiracy crew is always present with big smiles and cool t-shirt designs.

Doug Martin of Felt with the Felt F24X cross bike for kids that easily could be used as a road bike too. About $800.

Cyclocrosser Ben Berden is rumored to jump into the short track cross country race.

The Culprit Legend tri bike is exhibited here at Sea Otter but it is not yet finished.

Muscle Milk offers protein crunch bars in a couple flavors too, but these are only sample packs.

The Muc-Off cleaning station was mostly busy with dusty bikes.

We missed the bull riding action in the Bell booth but hopefully we well catch it later.

We will have some individual bike gallery features later today.
