Today the Marines Ironman 70.3 World Championships athletes checked in their bikes at T1 between noon and 6pm and we were there to check out some of the bikes and a few of the athletes.
For a while it looked like a thunder storm might move in, but the angry skies only lingered for a while before moving on. So the bike check-in went without a hitch.
But quite a few folks were surprised when they saw Craig Alexander show up with a Cervelo P4 towards the end of the bike check-in period.

Crowie's bike?

Nice photos. What is happening with Crowie/Orbea though? They're still listed on his site as a sponsor so either he had a last minute tech problem and needed to borrow the Cervelo or its splitsville with Orbea but not yet confirmed in public (I guess). Any news?
