Galindez and Bentley victorious in Rhode Island

Oscar Galindez (BRA) used a monster bike split to capture the 2008 Ironman 70.3 Rhode Island. Richie Cunningham (GBR) finished second and Paul Ambrose (AUS) rounded out the podium. Lisa Bentley (CAN) had to chase down long time leader Andrea Fisher (USA) to win the women's race. Fellow Canadian Annie Gervais snagged the runner-up spot and Andrea Fisher held on to third.

Bozzone and McGlone win 70.3 Kansas
Terenzo Bozzone topped a fantastic bike split with the fastest run of the day to win the inaugural Ironman 70.3 Kansas. Craig Alexander and Leon Griffin rounded out the podium. Sam McGlone won the women's race after chasing Joanna Lawn for most of the run. Lawn held on to second and Linsey Corbin finished third. 6.15.08

No offense to Seth Chandler-- but I don't think he really ran a 20 minute 1/2. Chris Thomas, however, is an amateur who kicked some serious tail!
