Marino Vanhoenacker ruled the 2008 Ironman 70.3 Antwerp and with it repeated his win from 2007. Luc VanLierde was the runner-up and Teemu Toivanen finished third. Belinda Granger was victorious in the women's race and Felicity Hart and Tine Deckers rounded out the podium.

Andrew Johns and Rutger Beke both suffered flat tires causing Beke to withdraw early on and Johns to finish later than he would have liked.
