Whitfield and Snowsill run away at Lifetime Fitness 2008

Simon Whitfield broke away with 400m to go and Emma Snowsill ran away from everyone out of T2 as each claimed first place at the 2008 Lifetime Fitness Triathlon. The victory was the first at this race for Whitfield, who had been second overall twice, and was the third win in Minneapolis for Snowsill. Whitfield ran a blistering 30:40 10km to lead the men, while Snowsill outran the next closest woman by over 2 minutes, running a blazing 33:57, with no other woman breaking 36 minutes for the 10km course.
