The BMC of Ty Magner

Today we look closer at the BMC teammachine SLR01 of U23 criterium champion Tyler Magner of the BMC / Hincapie Development Team.

Magner won 3 races in the Southeast in as many days with quite a display of dominance, but when he grabbed that U23 jersey in late June it was a much tighter affair. Luke Keough of Mountain Khakis / SmartStop was actually first to the line but when he raised his arms in triumph the hard charging Magner squeezed by him and crossed the line first.

His dad is known as beaver, his older brother as big beaver and well that leaves only one thing for Tyler.

SRAM Red controls and Fizik bartape on the Easton bars.

SRAM Red cranks and Shimano Ultegra pedals.

The SRAM Red rear brake and a simple little number holder.

A Fizik Arione CX saddle.

A roommate of Magner's in Athens, GA recently got hit by a car and several of his friends now sport a Snoopy on their bikes because the injured is very fond of the Peanuts character.

Easton EC90 SL wheels and Schwalbe Ultremo HT tires front and back.

SRAM Red brake up front.

Elite cages and bottles.

Magner on the way to another win.
