Richard Murray has competed at the highest levels in triathlon since 2012 when he validated his standing amongst the best in the sport with a win at WTS Hamburg.

This six-minute film produced by Murray's apparel and swim partner, Orca, provides the South African a canvas to discuss his childhood growing up in rural South Africa, his early success as a junior duathlete and his transition over time into a world class triathlete.

Murray is no stranger to finding the podium and top step at the best short course races in the world. Since 2012 he has won big money races including numerous International Triathlon Union (ITU) races, Island House Invitational Triathlon and Super League Triathlon. He also placed 4th at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

Murray has been dubbed "The King of Super League" by the race organizers of that event and can be seen racing at RBC Super League Jersey this weekend.
