Black Friday and Cyber Monday Deals for Triathletes

The all-critical retail bonanza known as Black Friday is this week. With it comes the usual sales for toys and electronics. And by toys, we naturally mean swim, bike, run, and recovery gear. Here are the best sales that we could track down from a variety of brands (in full disclosure, some of them are partners of ours, but not all of them).

Biggest Deal Running: Hyperice

A bit of shameless self-promotion, but U.S. based customers can get the absolute lowest prices of the year on Hyperice products over on our own store. (Global customers, head to Hyperice themselves for similar pricing.) Discounts range from just over 10% to 30% off, including on Normatec systems, Hypervolt massage guns, and more. (Subscribers to our newsletter also got an additional promo code). It’s the lowest pricing of the year on any of these items.

Swim Gear

FORM Swim: We are big fans of FORM’s goggles, especially now with the integration with TrainingPeaks available. Regularly priced at $249, which includes a year of FORM’s premium subscription service, they're now down to $179.

Bike Gear

Quintana Roo: Quintana Roo’s biggest savings of the year are on now via their Black Friday sale. All bikes are marked down, with the largest savings on prior generation PRsix and PRfive bikes. If you’re in need of a 52 or 54 sized frame, there’s big dollars here. Still, you can save hundreds on the V-PR and X-PR. Quintana Roo is also offering free paint upgrades and free shipping options. Oh, and their wetsuits are also on sale, too.

HED Wheels: HED has pulled out the stops this year, offering 22% off the Jet RC Pro Series wheels, and 20% off all of their other wheel sets. Disc brake or rim brake, thru axle or quick release, tubed or tubeless — there’s a wheel set on sale for you.

Position One Sports: This one’s interesting. Use the code STBF23, buy a pound of their Coffee for Children (Corazon de un Nina - Heart of a Child), and get 40% off your apparel order. If you ride a split-nose saddle, their bibs are a game-changer, particularly for indoor riding comfort.

ENGO Eyewear: ENGO’s real-time display sunglasses are $75 off right now. Similar to FORM, you can also get an additional discount by signing up for their newsletter. We put these here in the bike region as that real-time display is, in this writer’s opinion, the best safety feature available for road riding since Garmin’s Varia radar system came out — you just never need to stop looking forward.

De Soto Sport: Emilio De Soto has been a forum staple since Slowtwitch was founded. By extension, well, that means De Soto Sport has been here, too. De Soto makes my other go-to pair of bib shorts. Code SLOWTWITCHER25 gets you 25% off everything (including sale items!) but their Custom Build Your Own program.

X-Lab: Makers of my favorite hydration mounts and cages (Gorilla XT required for New England riding). CEO of the company Candice Turner is another long-time forum member. You get 25% off your order with code Cyber2023.

Ventum : Ventum is doing more of a upgrade offer then a discount. They currently have a FREE SRAM UPGRADE offer on all bike. Which translates into buy SRAM Force. Get SRAM Red for the same price
