Written by: Herbert Krabel
Date: Tue Sep 23 2008

Today was the second day of the Outdoor Demo of the 2008 Interbike Las Vegas trade show and meanwhile inside the Sands Convention center the exhibitors were scrambling to get their booths set up and ready for tomorrow.

These mannequins were awaiting clothes.

The Ceepo booth was abandoned and that ride could have easily be mine.

Chris Pic from Blue Competition Cycles with the new Triad.

The Jamis guys had the new Xenith T2 sitting on the side.

But before too long we were back to Outdoor Demo.

The Willier TT bike was at the Outdoor Demo, but John Cobb wasn't.

This bike in the Felt tent was only for show.

I test rode this SRAM Red equipped Scott Addict with the gang from SRAM.

Cervelo had just taken delivery of a few S3 models and I was lucky to snag one for a ride.

The Shimano folks were very busy explaining the electronic shifting.

Details of the new Dura Ace electronic.

A beautiful custom paint job for Michellie Jones.

Tim Carlson with the crew from skirtsports.

Lots of new nutrition products were available.

I only had about 25 minutes on the bike and this was the first time that I actually swung a leg over any Cervelo. From that brief impression though, the bike felt solid and very nice.

I am real curious what you thought about the ride of the S3. The new revised rear end that is an adaptation of the R3, along with the aero Soloist makes very interested in this bike as a replacement for my R3.
I loved my R3, but unfortunately an elderly woman cut in front of me with her car and now my R3 is toast. Other than my twisted, swollen ankle, I came out remarkably unhurt.
