Team Marsh Fearless Fundo ride

On Saturday folks gathered outside the VR Cycling Studio in The Woodlands, Texas to ride the Team Marsh Fearless Fundo - to raise money for Amy Marsh's battle with cancer. The Fundo was a 90 mile poker ride, reverse route of the IMTX bike course and riders collected 5 cards at stations throughout the route. The best 5 card poker hand was the winner.

About 100 riders took part, including pros Amy and Brandon Marsh, Tim Reed, Chris McDonald, Kelly Williamson, Scott Neydeli, Balazs Csoke and Brad Williams and over $15,000 was raised with all the money delivered to Team Marsh. Below are some impressions from the event courtesy of Ruddock Photography LLC.

There were many nice bikes present at this Team Marsh Fearless Fundo.

Participants had to draw a card before moving on to the next stop of this 90 mile ride.

Lance Armstrong also showed up to offer support for Amy Marsh.

Speed was not needed but fast bikes were seen everywhere.

Mostly though folks had a great attitude and made sure that the event was a success.

It was a great opportunity to ride a good portion of the Ironman Texas course, albeit in reverse.

There were of course no rules against going faster.

The effort by all these participants was greatly appreciated.

This Project One Trek Speed Concept was difficult to overlook.

Brad Williams represented the US Military well - as he always does.

Kelly Williamson was one of many pros who took part in this event.

A 6th card was given for anyone willing to run a 1-mile circuit following the ride and here is Chris Big Sexy McDonald doing so.

Participants also used swabs to collect matches to fight blood cancer.

Thanks to great sponsors and pro athletes there were many amazing products and services available for the auction. Rumor has it that 10 of these shirts are still available for $40 each.
