We beam with pride when we reach more than 50 mph on our bikes on a descent and some folks have gone north of 60 mph and lived to talk about it. But French dare devil Eric Barone holds the world record at 138.75 mph. Now that is wicked fast.

This record was established just about a year ago in the French Alps and 54-year old Barone who is often called the Red Baron also put on a very interesting aerodynamic show.
