2014 Giant TCX Advanced 1

Cyclocross season is pretty much upon us and there already are the first threads about cross bikes in our forum. We now look at the 2014 Giant TCX Advanced 1 cross bike we saw at Eurobike last week. Disc brakes, water bottle bosses and a distinctive paint scheme are the first things we noticed. Like other GianT TCX bikes this one is available in 5 sizes and retails for $4,050.

In a sea of black carbon bikes this Giant TCX Advanced 1 stands proudly on its own.

The view from above shows even more color and the 2 sets of water bottle bosses.

We will likely see more SRAM S-Series HRD700 brake/shift combos on 2014 cross bikes.

If the $4,050 are too rich for you considering this might be your third or fourth bike, you can get a very nice aluminum Giant cross bike with disc brakes for $1,600.
