Andy Jacques-Maynes’ Slice

Andy Jacques-Maynes of the Kenda / 5-hour Energy Pro Cycling team is the current race leader at the Sea Otter Classic, and here is a look at his Cannondale Slice TT bike. If you wonder why he isn't on a Masi though, it is all kosher. The team is indeed sponsored by Masi Bicycles, but since they do not offer a TT bike, Andy Jacques-Maynes and the other team guys are on Cannondale slices.

Andy Jacques-Maynes' 54cm Cannondale Slice right after the Sea Otter TT.

A massive 55cm chain ring and a Quarq power meter are at the heart of his bike.

The SRAM Red rear derailleur was most likely in that position most of the TT.

A SRAM Red front derailleur and a K-Edge chain guide keep things tidy up front.

The Ritchey cockpit of Andy Jacques-Maynes is very narrow.

No R2C SRAM Red shifters here.

SRAM Red brake levers and calipers.

The Selle Italia saddle shows signs of an incident.

A Mercury M9 wheel up front with a disc in the back, plus of course Kenda tires.

Where is the bottle cage?

Here is a closer look at the Vincero Design bottle mount system. Notice the magnet.
